Densadeg® treats all types of water. For desalination applications, the Densadeg is used for the treatment of effluents in reverse osmosis desalination (backwash water from filters, brine from the reverse osmosis stage, sludge from DAF pretreatment stage, …)
It combines the principle of lamellar settling with an integrated sludge thickener. There is no need of downstream additional sludge thickening equipment before dewatering. The densification of sludge allows to reduce the volume of extracted sludge and thus limit the water loss.
