cutting fluid maintenance

Reading time:

In most machining operations, this maintenance takes the form of grit removal and fine filtration through constantly moving paper under pressure or in a vacuum.

For grinding applications, more demanding in terms of quality, this maintenance involves fine filtration through cartridges or candles, more rarely by flocculation and dissolved air flotation.

In all of these operations, the oil released on the surface of storage tanks and mixed with oxidised metal fines, is purified in magnetic drums.
